For sightseeing and shopping, the Bavarian town of Leavenworth is 20 minutes by car or one hour by bicycle. We have something for outdoor enthusiasts of all breeds, from tennis and golf to lake sailing, swimming or fly-fishing. Hiking trails for both the novice and the experienced are only steps away from the lodge.
We offer the same variety in our accommodations. We can accommodate couples, families or small groups in separate lodge-like units with their own private decks and hot tubs. For larger groups our two Lodge Buildings feature cozy private rooms and individual baths. River rock fireplaces in our great rooms feature soaring timbered ceilings and views of the valley that can still your heart as evening light fades.
Each main lodge offers family-style cooking facilities along with comfortable dining space. We provide the cookware, china and place settings. You can plan your own menu or, per your request, meals from simple family fare to gourmet dining can be arranged and individualized according to your specific tastes.
For groups and special events, we offer our unique Mountain Springs Western Style, all-you-can-eat Chuck Wagon Bar-B-Q, featuring barbecued chicken and pork ribs, salads, ranch baked beans, summer-fresh fruit, Cowboy potatoes, rolls and a slice of delicious pie.
Dining at Mountain Springs Lodge is a special event in itself.

Rooms feature rustic log beds and desks, heated towel racks, in-room coffee makers, voice mail, wireless internet access, and in-room telephones. Guests are provided with towels, sheets and personal care products such as shampoo and lotion that are selected for their environmental sensitivity. Coffee makers brew Caffe Appasionato, a brand selected for its Fair Trade practices and its shade-growing methods that protect the rainforest and the habitat of migratory birds. You'll not find televisions, refrigerators or stocked bars in the rooms. All rooms are strictly non-smoking.
Built to blend with nature, Sleeping Lady has preserved or restored the natural landscape of its Cascade foothills home. Look out any window, or walk any path to be inspired by birdsong, stars, the incense of pine trees and other natural delights.
Sleeping Lady's commitment to the arts and music are reflected in its extensive collection of original artwork and folk art, and its partnership with Icicle Creek Music Center. Icicle Creek administers a year 'round Sleeping Lady performing arts series, and produces its own classical, jazz and acoustic chamber music programs at Sleeping Lady, including its summer Chamber Music Festival. Music of all kinds and other performing arts, as well as a variety of visual art - sculptures from wood, stone, glass and metal; paintings; woven art such as baskets, blankets, and hangings; and more - celebrate nature and the human spirit in its diversity of cultures and artistic voices. To find new inspiration and creativity within, attend a Sleeping Lady or Icicle Creek Music Center event, or take a walk anywhere on our grounds.
Dining at Sleeping Lady is a community experience that celebrates the culinary pleasures of food in an atmosphere conducive to conversation. Centering on the Kingfisher Dining Lodge, Sleeping Lady cuisine features healthful gourmet meals made from the freshest ingredients. Kingfisher also serves a selection of beer and fine wine. Kingfisher Dining Lodge serves three guest meals daily. We also welcome non-lodging guests with advance reservations. The Grotto provides a relaxed setting for before and after dinner drinks. O'Grady's serves Sleeping Lady guests and the public with lighter fare and espresso drinks.
The Central Washington area surrounding Sleeping Lady offers our guests unlimited recreational opportunities. We can arrange group rates and specialized packages tailored to your interests and needs. During spring, summer and fall enjoy myriad outdoor activities from hiking and biking, to fishing, nature walks, horseback riding, float trips and whitewater rafting. When there's snow, guests can experience sleigh rides, downhill and cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing.
Come experience the peace and beauty of Sleeping Lady with us.
